Lumos Nigeria works with two kinds of sales roles. A Partner works with incentives only. A Territory Manager (TM) is a salaried, full-time employee, benefiting from HMO, pension and group life insurance. On top of a monthly salary, a TM is incentivised on every new customer they bring in, plus a repayment bonus (a share of their customers' monthly instalments). That means a TM's income rests on a steady base and grows with every customer they keep, not just every sale they make.

For decades, the central question in African energy has largely been: how do we connect more people to power? That question still matters. But as access expands, a second question seems to be getting harder to ignore: what happens after people are connected?

Energy access isn’t one-size-fits-all. The Lumos L1 is designed with exactly that in mind. At the heart of the L1 is something straightforward but important: it supports both AC and DC appliances.
